Rag Bag
Tuesdays November 7th, 14th, and 28th
10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
The November 28th class will be held 10:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Come weave using strips of fabric as your weft in the creation of a large rag tote bag! In this three-session class, everyone will learn how to cut fabric into rag strips and weave it in the most effective way on the rigid heddle loom. During the last day of class, students will then sew the fabric into bags with thick rope handles. Prior rigid heddle weaving experience is required and all materials will be provided.

Rigid Heddle 1
Tuesdays October 10th, 17th and 24th
10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
If you have ever been curious about learning how to weave this is the class for you! In this 3-session class students will learn the basics of weaving including loom set up, weaving terminologies, how to read a rigid heddle weaving draft, and how to weave! Students will create a woven sampler learning plain weave as well as a variety of different patterns using a pick up stick.
No experience is needed and all materials will be provided.
The yarn is included in the kit fee and the looms will be provided without charge by Schacht Spindle Company. Looms can be taken home during the session to complete your project.
